We have very little information on the Vanlander but do know it was a Dealer Special sold by Caravanland. Sadly they too are no longer trading, having closed their doors in late 2014.

We were informed by David Webb at the Club’s AGM in 2002 that Fleetwood had “two additional ranges – Vanlander and Moonlight Sonata, which are produced and badged for two particular large dealers”. This leads us to believe that the earliest they were available would have been 2001. Other sources have given us an idea of the range and models available.

The model numbers that Vanlanders sold were based on either the Colchester/Meridien or the Heritage/Volante. It seems that Caravanland in most cases used GLS or Platinum to denote the higher specification with the exception of the Vanlander 640 model.

We've also found a Vanlander 450/4 which we're unsure of - described as a "4 berth single axle Fleetwood, this Caravan has an End Kitchen & End Corner Washroom layout. Central Dinette seating area makes into a bunk bed. Front Seating area makes into a double bed.
