Fleetwood dropped the Colchester 1500-4-EK from the range this year but continued with all the others from 1995.

Fleetwood dropped the Colchester 1300-2, 1500-2SB, 1650-4 and introduced three new layouts for two berth and family usage - the Colchester 1500-2L and Colchester 1650-EB and 1650-EK - New.

There were quite a few changes this year - Fleetwood dropped the smallest model the Colchester 1150-2 and bring back the Colchester 1300-2 - Return. They dropped the Colchester 1500-2L they introduced in 1997 and the Colchester 1650-5 & 1850-EB, and they brought back the 4 berth Colchester 1650-4 - Return.

2001 Fleetwood Colchester – the clubman caravan you promised yourself

This is the Fleetwood all-season range – with a peerless blend of quality and user comforts and a 20 year reputation for craftsman built luxury. The choice of layouts includes both two berth and family designs, and the range stretches from a compact 12’6” two berth through two end-washroom models redesigned for 2001, right up to the space and sheer luxury of the new 500ES and 560, which both feature dedicated end bedrooms. In the 500 you can even choose between a permanent or two domestic sized single beds.

With two new layouts this year, blending quality and comfort within a modern environment makes the Colchester range an easy option for everyone – from couples to large families.

2003

By introducing a dramatic and very stylish new shape for 2003 the Colchester continues to lead the ‘pack’ with innovative ideas combined with the expected high quality, both inside and out. Currently with a choice of 7 layouts, plus the 560-4 being introduced later this year, the options are unlimited within this range. The drop down double bed facility is re-introduced within the 520-ES proving that we really do listen to our customer!

2004 Colchester A stylish, affordable, luxury tourer continuing as a firm favourite year on year.

With six layouts including the very popular 560-4EK which was launched last year and the 560-4 with its drop-down bed facility, the options are unlimited, meeting every requirement with style and panache.

Looking for a two berth? Then either the 420-2 with an end kitchen or the 470-2EB offering an end washroom is the choice for you. Both have spacious and comfortable lounge areas easily adapted into twins or a double bed with additional storage area.

The 520-4ES offers an added bonus of having a full, front end lounge along with a drop down bed over the “L” shaped seating at the rear, thereby giving you two separate living/sleeping areas, a much needed solution when travelling with the family

2005

Completely re-modernised this year both inside and out and with new, stylish front and rear elevations to complete the picture

Some changes to the layouts mean that this year we offer six models which include the re-launched 380-2 a comfortable, compact 2 berth with end kitchen, two further two-berth models, the 420-2 with a very large end kitchen area and the 470-2EB offering an end washroom. Both have spacious and comfortable lounge area easily adapted into twins or a double bed with additional storage area underneath.

Four berth layouts include the 520-4EB with a fully fitted end bathroom including separate shower cubicle, vanity unit, large wardrobe and storage cupboards, the 520-4ES offering an added bonus of a front end lounge together with a further full sized double bed and en-suite wash/shower room and the ever popular 560-4EK with a fully fitted end kitchen, centre dinette and “L” shaped lounge and a separate shower area.
