2016 Rutland Water
Just 4 vans went to Rutland Water, no EHU, no facilities just fabulous views, fabulous weather and great company. So relaxing - this is what carvanning is all about!
What did we do? Not a lot - a group BBQ out in the sunshine Saturday, a cycle ride around Rutland Water for some, followed by a game of Kubb on Sunday & a meal at a local pub Monday evening to celebrate Bill's impending 75th birthday that week.. Some went out and about but most of us just enjoyed the weather and didn't go far.
A nice surprise on Sunday was a visit from members Ted & Di who called to say Hi, and they also joined us on Monday evening at the local pub for our meal.
