High Straggleton Farm Caravan Site is set in picturesque scenery of North Yorkshire, just a mile outside of Whitby towards Sandsend. With panoramic views of the North Sea and the surrounding countryside, High Straggleton is a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place.

Being only a mile or so from Whitby and with the Esk Valley and other villages like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes only a short drive away High Straggleton Farm is the perfect place to explore this section of the Yorkshire coast and moorland. Some of the attractions Whitby offers are as follows:

  • Whitby Abbey and the 199 steps

Whitby and surrounding area offer a huge number of high quality restaurants and cafes to eat at, many of which offer seasonal, locally sourced food and drink of the highest quality. You can even order fish & chips, pizza or an indian takeaway to be delivered direct to your caravan.

The beach is only 15 minutes walk from High Straggleton Farm and stretches for miles from Whitby to Sandsend, a wonderful place to spend a sunny day or for a relaxing evening walk. Whitby also offers all the normal high-street shops, banks, supermarkets and services.

DIRECTIONS

Situated between Whitby and Sandsend on the A174. To find us follow the signs for Sandsend on the A174 from Whitby. Go past Sandfield Touring Site and entrance to the golf course. Take the first left, sign-posted 'Newholm'. After about 300 yards, take the first left, sign-posted 'High Straggleton Farm'.
