Fleetwood Caravans 2008

FLEETWOOD 08

The 2008 Fleetwood Range DESIGNED TO IMPRESS

Whether you’re on the road to a new adventure, enjoying a welcome escape or simply casting an admiring glance, this year’s range wears its pedigree with pride.

Each caravan features a unique combination of style and substance.  We understand quality construction, the application of the new technologies to traditional engineering expertise, the delicate balance of function and flair.  That’s why a Fleetwood caravan feels different – whether you’re towing or when you have reached your destination and you’re relaxing with that well-earned glass of wine.

The Fleetwood marque is about exploring in luxury.  It is built with the knowledge that a safe base surrounded by familiar comforts in stylish surroundings actually aids relaxation, no matter how exciting the adventure ahead.

Heritage ENGINEERED FOR ADVENTURE

The quality of design and construction shows in every aspect of the 2008 Heritage range.  Cutting-edge technology and body design are complemented by an inherent solidity and stability that make the caravans a joy to live in and a pleasure to tow.

It is these rare qualities that have established Heritage’s reputation as the most stylish and sought-after caravans in Europe.  This year, they’re better than ever with new models, new interior layouts, eye-catching styling, and exterior designs that are the envy of everyone who aspires to own this unique brand of touring caravans.

This year, there are now three Heritage single axle models to enjoy alongside the double-axle models upon which the range built its name.  The Heritage 490-2 and the Heritage 530-3 now join the Heritage 560-4 to extend the Heritage pedigree to those whose lifestyle best suits a caravan with a single axle.

There are new developments across the rest of the Heritage range.  All double beds are built with metal frames and every fixed bed mattress features the memory foam topper for a quality of sleep and relaxation that really does feel like home.

2008 Models

Heritage 490-2

You’ll love the re-launched and improved two-berth Heritage. At the front, two spacious 6’ 1” single seats convert to either twin beds or a large double bed. There is a delightful side kitchen with a TV/dresser unit adjacent. A completely re-designed large rear washroom with shower, washbasin, toilet and spacious wardrobe area complete the layout.

Heritage 530-2

This new single axle, three-berth Heritage also boasts two 6’ 1” single seats at the front end that convert to a large double bed or 2 single beds. The side kitchen has a massive workspace opposite a dinette seating area that converts to a single bed. The large rear washroom contains a shower, toilet, washbasin and full length wardrobe. The model also has the option of a fourth-berth Pullman Bunk over the central dinette area.

Heritage 560-4

This favourite four-berth single-axle model features a practical L-shaped seating at the front-end that converts into a double bed. A spacious side kitchen leads to a large transverse wash and shower room. A sliding door provides access to the end bedroom with fixed twin beds. There’s also the option of fitting a double bed to this area.

Heritage 640-EB

Essentially a twin-axle two-berth, the 640-EB has a clever third berth facility with a four berth option in the central dinette. At the front of the caravan 6’ 1” long parallel seating converts to a large double bed or two single beds. The practical kitchen is L-shaped and there’s a huge end wash and shower room. You’ll love the massive wardrobe space.

Heritage 640-ES(D)

This four-berth twin-axle model has become the most popular Heritage of the last seven years. Spacious 6’1” long parallel-seating at the front end converts to a double, or twin single beds. A centre kitchen leads to a washroom with separate shower room across the middle of the caravan, with sliding doors to a large double bedroom.

Heritage 640-ES(T)

Essentially the same as the 640-ES(D) below left, but with domestic-style twin beds, replacing the transverse double and separated by a fixed floor-mounted cabinet. A large separate shower room and wash hand basin and toilet area sits across the middle of the caravan.

Heritage 640-ES(6)

This perfect layout for a large family with the transverse wash/shower room as in the 640-ES(D). A sliding door leads to the rear and to two parallel day seats with a Pullman bunk over each – pull-out bed slats provide a large double bed in this area if required. There is a dedicated TV station at roof locker height just inside the sliding door; this together with the free-standing table gives children their own special area.

Heritage 640-I

This prestigious four-berth twin-axle model features a ‘wrap round front end and the transverse washroom of the 640-ES(D). Beyond sliding doors, you’ll find a large end bedroom with a fixed ‘island’ double bed. Twin bedside cabinets and wardrobes support an overhead canopy of open-plan shelving and roof lockers, there’s also a vanity table, mirror.

Heritage 640-CB

Essentially a two berth, but the layout can easily accommodate four in comfort with single bench seating converting to a double bed at the forward end. This leads into the kitchen, beyond which is the open plan centre double bedroom; a corridor by-passes this leading to a large end washroom and enabling private access to this area either from the centre bed or the front sleeping areas. The washroom area boasts a large wardrobe and a separate shower.
