Keep the bowl you beat the egg in and add 2 tsp Milk to glaze the pastry before cooking
Take a 13oz pack of Puff Pastry, cut into 3 pieces then roll out into squares of around 8 or 9 inches. Place a third of the mixture into the middle of each and spread out down the centre. Leave enough pastry either side of the mix to fold the sides over and overlap in the middle joining with water. Wet top and bottom edges then fold over to seal the ends.
Turn onto a wet baking tray, mark the pastry diagonally with a sharp knife (don't cut right through) and glaze with milky/egg mix
Place in a hot oven Gas 7/200 degrees centigrade for 30/35 minutes until golden brown.
