Extraordinary General Meeting 2012
By order of the Committee I give all members of the Fleetwood Owners Club notice that an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on Saturday August 25th 10-30am at Meon View Caravan Site, Taylors Lane, Upper Quinton Stratford-upon–Avon CV37 8LG
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the creation of an Associate Member of the Club. No other subjects will be discussed!

Notes of consideration
The entire Fleetwood Owners Club Committee is in agreement that the Club’s Constitution be amended to create a new category of Associate Member.
The conditions under which this category of membership would be allowed are:-
a. No longer be an Owner/or have use of a caravan or motor home.
b. Be a fully paid up member of the Fleetwood Owners Club
An Associate Member would be entitled to:-
a. Attend Rallies as a day visitor.
b. Attend special functions at Rallies i.e. Dinners, Dances, Anniversaries etc.
c. Attend A.G.M’s and express their views but not be allowed a vote at such meetings.
They would be required to re-new their membership in the usual manner to retain their status of Associate Member.
Benefits of this proposal
It maintains the ethos of the Club, Friendship, as this is what the Club is all about. Currently a member without a caravan or motorhome would have no alternative but to quit the Club, this would no longer be the case if this proposal gets voted in.
Extract from the meeting
The Chairman spoke as to the benefits of this proposal.
He said that this proposal carried on the spirit of the original ethos when we were a single van club, in as much it enabled loyal members who have changed circumstances to continue their links/friendships with the other members of the club.
He said that he had spoken to Craig, on this matter, and he readily supported the move and that he would be honoured to take up Associate Membership.
The Hon. Sec. called for a vote on the proposition - All voted in favour.
