Heating in Fleetwood caravans started off as a space heater, we don't know when this was introduced as the earliest sales literature we have is 1988. This says that the larger twin-axle Colchesters were also fitted with blown-air.
We suspect that Fleetwood introduced Alde Wet Heating as an option sometime in the early 1990's as one owner contacted us to determine the age of his Colchester and the Alde heating was fitted from new. Fleetwood fitted this as standard into their Heritage range from 1999 and into the Volante range in 2005.
