Just in Case – Be Prepared
If you need a tow:
a) Make sure you know where to attach a tow rope, also if you need a screw-in adaptor, have it handy, not buried in the boot under all the gear we caravanners carry about.
b) Remember it’s you in need of a tow, so you should be prepared to attach the rope to your outfit even if you are in mud.
c) Do not rely on whoever is going to tow you (either 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive car) to provide a tow rope, carry your own and whatever is needed to attach it to your outfit.
d) This also applies to 4 x 4’s, they are not infallible.
