Info - Power Distribution Units

Information in the Handbooks and User Manuals that we have from 1994 onwards indicate that Fleetwood fitted units from Zig, Plug In Systems and BCA.

Details below with illustrations extracted from the manuals:

1994 KT12SM Transformer / Charger Unit (Garland & Colchester only)

The KT12SM is a fully automatic mains to 12v dc transformer unit, combining power and safety to provide the ultimate in 12v dc power supplies.

1995 PMS6FL (Garland & Colchester) & PMS6FLD (Diadem) Modular System

The PMS6 Unit is designed to operate on a mains supply of 185 volts ac to 265 volts ac (making it ideal for use with low continental voltages). The 40 amp RCD (residual circuit device) gives protection against earth faults and also acts as the main-switch. The mains module also has three MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breakers) which are basically resettable mains fuses, to protect against overcurrent.

1996 PMS6FL Power Modular System (Garland & Colchester)

As 1995 above

1996 KT12SM Battery Charger Unit (Libra only)

The KT12SM is an extremely lightweight and efficient unit, combining power and safety to provide the ultimate in battery chargers

1997 PMS7FL Power Modular System (Garland & Colchester)

The PMS7 Unit is designed to operate on a mains supply of 207 volts ac to 253 volts ac (making it ideal for use with low continental voltages). The 40 amp RCD (residual circuit device) gives protection against earth faults and also acts as the main-switch. The mains module also has three MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breakers) which are basically resettable mains fuses, to protect against overcurrent.

1998 Power Centre 11

The Power Centre 11 is a 230 volt mains and 12 volt DC power supply unit which provides all the necessary electricity for your caravan.

The Power Centre 11 is designed to operate on mains 230v AC (allowing for variation on continental voltages). The 25 amp RCD (Residual Current Device) gives protection against electric faults and electrocution; this also acts as a mains switch. The unit also has three MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breaker) which are a resettable fuse to protect against over current. Below each MCB is an identification label showing each circuit protected.

1999 Power Centre 11

The Power Centre 11 from BCA Leisure Ltd is a 230 volt mains and 12 volt DC power control unit which provides all the necessary features for control of the electrics in your caravan.

Mains module: The Power Centre 11 is designed to operate on mains supply of 90 - 230 volts AC (making it ideal for use with low continental voltages). The 25 amp RCD (Residual Current Device) gives protection against earth faults and also acts as the mainswitch. The mains module also has three MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breaker) which are basically resettable mains fuses to protect against over current.

2000 & 2001 Consumer Unit

The Consumer Unit from BCA Leisure Ltd provides all the necessary features for control of the 230v electrics in the caravan.

The Consumer Unit is designed to operate on a mains supply of 190 volts ac to 230 volts ac (making it ideal for use with low continental voltages). The 25 amp RCD (residual circuit device) gives protection against earth faults and also acts as the mainswitch. The mains module also has three MCB’s (Miniature Circuit Breakers) which are basically resettable mains fuses, to protect against overcurrent.
