Last year I had to have a new 12v fuse board fitted because the Fridge/Freezer fuse burnt out. We have now changed tow vehicle from L/Rover to KIA Sorento.
All the 12v system works well except when I start the engine on the KIA. The Fridge/Freezer and 12v lights flash on and off at about 2-3 second intervals. Stop the engine and all works well again.
The battery indicator on the Heritage flashes 0 to max at same rate as lights and Fridge/Freezer flash on and off..
Could you please offer some advice

I think it's related to the work you have recently had done on your caravan. I would talk with the outfit that carried out that work for you explaining what's happening. There's a car/caravan change over set of relays in the PDU of the caravan that I would be looking at.
If you have not used the new car with the caravan it would also be worth connecting up another tow vehicle & electrics just to eliminate the vehicle from the equation.

Thanks for your info regarding the electrics to my Heritage. I've had a towbar fitter check the car over and he found the towbar wiring was all over the place. He renewed the wiring and the junction relay.
It is ok now and we’re looking forward to getting back on to the road.
