There were 13 vans at the Christmas Rally and twentynine of us for the party as one couple came without their van. We had a great time, a two or three course meal at lunch and a buffet in the evening. So much food we had to meet up again on Sunday night to eat it all.
Not everyone came on the first day of the rally but most of those that did went to the local pub for a meal, then a few of us joined the locals for their Christmas Bingo in the village hall. Luckily we managed to win a couple of prizes!
Friday a group of us walked along the canal to Misterton, calling at the Red Hart for a break and the local butchers for lunch. We met in the Clubhouse on site in the evening giving us a chance to catch up with those that had arrived that day.
Saturday was very busy with lunch at The White Hart and fun in the village hall in the evening. Everyone brought something for the buffet table and Santa Steve brought a huge sack of presents for everyone. There was lots of fun and laughter and we ended the evening dancing to our resident DJ Bill.
Sunday we went to the hall again to eat the leftovers. We also played a game of left, right & centre - more laughter!
Make sure you book your place on next years rally!
